AGM
The Annual General Meeting of Buscot Park Cricket Club
will take place at 7.30pm, Thursday 19 November 2015 at the Crown Inn (back
room), Faringdon.
An
agenda of business for the meeting is available here along with minutes of the 2014 AGM.
All members are welcome and
encouraged to attend, Juniors and their parents are welcome too. Key items for
discussion will be club finances, including setting subscriptions and match
fees, pavilion improvements works and election of officers and perhaps most
importantly arrangements for celebrating the club’s 125th year!!
This
is everyone’s chance to have a say in the future of our club, all senior members
can vote on the proposals which shape the way the club is run. Please come along
if you can make it.
New Committee Post
We are also considering making a
new Officer post of Grants and Funding Coordinator. This role will be to
investigate and explorer any possible grant schemes, charitable funding or other
income streams that might be available to the club and to make applications as
appropriate. We are looking for anyone who might be interested in filling what
is a key role for the club, if you feel you can contribute in this area please
consider having a go and helping out.

Out
As ever we would also like to
issue our annual plea for anyone who could spare time and effort in helping with
the Junior Cricket arm of the club, principally during the training sessions and
at matches, general helpers and coaches are sort. Please let John or Andy know
if you can help out, even if only occasionally.
First Aid
Finally, below is a link to the cricket specific
courses being run by St John's Ambulance this winter. This is ideal for
current or aspiring coaches or those who just want learn some very good
skills!
