BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Won by 38 runs (target reduced to 164 )

Match report We were put into bat against 3rd placed Corsham , John and Hamish gave us a good start as we reached 40 in the 9th over, difficult batting conditions and some decent bowling slowed the run rate as we reached 179 off 45 overs . Hamish 56 not out , Duncan getting 30 while extras with 39 helped top up the total.
Rain came down just after we started to bowl and the revised target became 164 off 41 , Will Townsend called in from the 2nds showed all his experience with only 20 runs off his 12 over spell, Glenn Townsend on his annual appearance took 3 wickets while Duncan and Gary bowled tightly as Corsham never looked likely to reach the target. Special mention to the 3 youngest team players , Harry and Toby Dibble and Will Parsons whose fielding was excellent and saved plenty of runs.
