Match report Buscot 2nds turned up to Beanacre 3rds with for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, 10 players. On a fine Saturday afternoon, 'the Park' lost the toss and were put into bat on a pitch that looked rather green and uneven. This was then proved with the 2 buscot openers going cheaply and leaving the score on 9-2, this was until the in-form Monty Green came to the crease and hit a poetic, career-best 42, which propelled the run rate and the score. L.Farmer then joined R.Morbey at the crease and the pair put on a steady 47, before Rob fell LBW. liam lasted 6 more overs, managing to hit his first 6 of the year, (thats how you do it dad), before he was Bowled with the Buscot score on 110-5, and then famous Buscot collpase saw the team all out for a very respectable 122.

Good early opening spells from, the consistent Jonny Gardiner and Namet restriced Beanacre 12-2 off 10 overs, further tight bowling and good fielding left the opposition reeling at 55-6, these wickets included 3 very good slip catches from Captain Farmer, as for once he was leading by example. More wickets for, Mr.Cricket-Jon Slack, 3 for 37 from 12, and Andy Capper, 1 for 38 off 9, set up a very nail-biting finale. then an inspired bowling change saw the return of Jonny, a best of 4 for 28 and Namat, 2 for 11, who wrapped up the 5 run vivtory, and sent the hordes of travelling fans, (Patrick Slack), into raptures.
A Very good team performance and a rare second consecutive victory send the 2nds to 3rd in the table.
