BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Lost By 172 Runs

Match report On a mild day, Buscot hosted Burbage & Eaton Royals 3rds and they thought their luck was in when the opposition didn't turn up, so Buscot claimed the toss an would put Burbage into bat on what seemed a lively wicket, this didn't turn out to be the rght thin to do as Burbge piled on the runs and finished on a better-than-a-run-a-ball total of 273-9 with Andy Cappe being the pick of the bowlers with 3 for 55 from 11 overs. As this wasnt bad enough Burbage were als fielding multiple 1st and 2nd team batters and bowlers so when it came to batting it wasn't much of a suprise to see us struggling to beat our previous lowest of 38, when we were 22 for 5 but good loer order batting from Rob,Ally and Forthy saw us to a reasonable score of 101. Decent 6 points against a far better side who playing like that should be many leagues above us.
