Match report Travelled to 3rd placed team Marlborough but with the 1st team game being given to 'The Park' a few 1st teamers came to the 2's to make up the numbers and still we only had 10 players! but as did the opposition and after finally winning the toss, we put Marlborough into bat
After another economical opening spell from Jonny and fiery pace bowling from Chris Burgess on came Will who ripped through the middle order with figures of 12-4-31-4 to leave Marlborough reeling on 105 for 5 but then one of Marlborough's batsmen gof after Mike and Slacky and he added 69 in double time to set Buscot the challenge of chasing down 172, it wouldhave to be their highest score of the season.
After a very good opening partnership between Andy(34) and Rich(17) of 47 in 11 overs both them and Monty were out to leave the park needeng a further 100 runs, at the crease both of the Farmers then came together and added a majestic 84 inside 15 overs to almost get Buscot home, but then Liam was out for 30, this left Mike and the Skipper to see the side home with Paul reaching 50.
A very good win with everybody contributing well, this could be the start to a goo run-in.
