BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Won by 68 runs

Match report The team continued their impressive start to the league campaign with this 68 run win , Jeremy and Liam opened the batting,with some tight bowling they batted carefully and slowly increased the scoring rate.Jeremy reached another 30 and had to retire while Liam was trappeg LBW with the score on 68 in the 14th over.Will P and Will J then increased the tempo with some good running between the wickets and some boundaries to put on 43 in 6 overs leaving Minster to chase 111.
After the opening bowlers Jonny and George had settled down and got their line and length right they tore through the top order with George's pace taking 2 wickets and Jonny's movement of the wicket getting 3 wickets.Oscar and Jordan continued the miserly bowling both picking up a wicket while a good bit of fielding by Will J resulted in a run out while Barnaby bowled out the last 2 batsmen.
Yet again a good team performance, sensible batting with some good bowling while the ground fielding again was top notch, the only minor (i've got to find something ! )negative was the 22 extras out of a score of 43 we gave away.
