Match report The match of the day saw us blow our chances of making the final as we chased 87,a dream start saw Will Parsons take 4 wickets in the 1st over to leave Westbury 0 for 4, unfortunately for us we could not get the next batsmen out as they both retired. Will then took a great catch of Johny Carters' bowling as they reached 87 , the only downside was the 17 wides and no balls we bowled.
We lost Johny on 17 but Jeremy and Will James were looking comfortable as they took the score to 57 off 11 overs when Jeremy had to retire reaching 30.Then things started to go wrong as firstly Will P was run out without facing,Will J was out a couple of overs later and then the nerves kicked in !wanting 14 off 5 overs with 6 wickets left should have been a simple matter but not for Buscot.Losing wickets and failing to find the singles with Westbury bowling tightly meant we needed 1 run off the last ball to win on countback but a run out off the last ball meant Westbury went through to the final.
A great game which could of gone either way and was played in great spirit .
