BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Lost by 7 wickets

Match report An inexperienced Buscot team came into the gasme with several players playing their 1st league game, Buscot were put into bat , Alex and Jordan took the score to 26 with no real concerns, Alex was then bowled for 6 off the last ball of the 6th over,Jordan followed the next ball and the collapse began.Four more wickets went with no score before Tom Walsham and extras helped the score move to 44 off only 11.2 overs, Unfortunately a lack of defensive shots and bad running/calling were the main problems!
Kalum opened the bowling conceding only 4 runs in his 3 overs while Slacky junior took his 1st wicket for the team in his 2nd over. A good run out followed by a good wicket for Jordan could not prevent a defeat Nibbs hit 30 retired as Shipton reached their target in the 9th over.
The bowling and fielding looked strong but much work is needed in the batting especially on shot selection and using the full 20 overs.
