Match report On a fine April's afternoon, BPCC 2ndXI started their 2011 season with a Away trip to Beanacre, a team that they achieved the double over last year. On paper it looked a very strong team with 1st team regulars Hamish, Andy and Namet all playing. After winning the toss, Captain Farmer decided he would Bowl first. In the Beanacre innings all 4 Bowlers took wickets which fell at regular intervals, with the pick of the bowlers being the evergreen Jon Slack, 6-2-17-4. Beanacre had been bowled out for what looked like a very uncompettitve total of 77. With 20 overs still to play before Tea, Josh and Hamish took to the middle looking to set a solid base for the relatively small chase, at Tea we'd reached 34-4, and with a lot of batting still to come we were still confident. However after Tea a pletheora of wickets fell, and left buscot falling miles short being 40 All Out. With only Hamish (19) making double figures and an innings which included 5 ducks. Much to think about Batting-wise but a good bowling and fielding display should see he right results come sooner rather than later
