BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Lost
Buscot won the toss and put Minster Lovell Swifts in to bat. Swifts made a steady start making 20 off the first 5 overs. Then young Jack Tomes struck for the second week running with a direct hit on the wickets. He then came on to bowl and in his third over took a wicket and the next ball Ewan Johnson ran out the opener for 24. A wicket each for Harrison Brown, Harry Stevens and Rob O'kelly together with a run out for Nic Moody gave swifts a score of 76 for 7 at the end of 20 overs. After last weeks win against Ducklington, openers Nic Moody and Harry Stevens took to the crease with confidence. However, Nic was bowled in the third over for 4 and Harry followed in the fifth over for 2. Harry Crowther came on to bowl in the 7th over and demolished the stupms of 4 more buscot players to leave the score on 26 for 6 after 11 overs. Jack Tomes, Jeremy Kirby and Matt Davis put up strong resistance at the end of the match, but Buscot only reached 52 for 9 at the end of 20 overs.
