Buscot batted first in this cup match. Nic Moody and Harrison Brown started cautiosly, and Nic was run out in the 5th over for 5. Harry Stevens then started to push the run rate up with harrison offering good support, until he was bowled for 21. Harry made his 30 and had to retire and Toby Dibble and George Buck batted well each making 10 runs. There was some excellent running between the wicket in the second half of the match and Buscot finished on 89 for 2. Bicester and North oxford then went in to bat and Luther bowled their openers in the 3rd and 5th over, and the oppostition started to struggle. Christian Partridge took a catch off Nic's bowling in the 8th over and Matt Carter, bowling for Buscot for the first time, took his first wicket in the next over. Bicester were now 28 for 4. Two run outs (George Buck and Nathan Byrd showing their fielding skills) in the next over left Bicester on 28 for 6. Bicester's no8 showed some resiliance at the end, making 24 not out, but a further 2 wickets fell with catches by Matt Carter off Nic Moody's bowling and Harriosn Brown off Harry Steven's final ball of the match. Bicester reached 75 at the end of 20 overs, some 14 runs short of the target. The game was played in excellent spirit, with the Bicester captain volunteering to help field when Toby was injured attempting a difficult catch.
