BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Lost BY 6 WICKETS

Buscot batting first mixed the line up and got off to a steady start, the 1st wicket going down in the 9th over for 31 runs.Unfortunately we found runs hard to find in the next few overs as we got to 56 with 15 overs gone, only some big hitting from Louis Bouwers with 32 runs in the last few overs helped us put up a reasonable score. Closer inspection of the scorebook showed we did not score a run or runs off 79 out of 126 deliveries we received,i think we maybe are looking to hit too many boundaries instead of working the ball around the ground and picking up ones and twos.
Cumnor's top order were the same players who had bowled and were always up with the run rate and won with 2 overs left.
Buscot gave a chance to 7 bowlers with Ollie Parsons the pick of them with figures of 4-1-14-2 but the target was to small especially as we conceded 30 extras.
