BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Lost BY 18 RUNS

Match report Buscot lost the toss and were asked to bowl, Heasman and Hughes opened the bowling and kept the run rate to a reasonable rate but could not get the important wicket of Swindon's opening bat who went on to make a century.
John Slack picked up 6 wickets as Swindon were bowled out for 188 which would have been considerably less without the 101 from a player who only makes the numbers up when they are short !
Buscot's run chase looked to be going well with skipper Andy Morbey and Mike Heasman batting ,needing 36 off 6 overs but the skipper was then bowled for 63 and Mike went soon afterwards on 29 as we were eventually bowled out for 170 off the last ball of the game.
