Match report Losing the toss Buscot were put into bat , openers Paul Farmer and Andy Morbey putting on 30 before Paul was bowled in the 9th over,two quick wickets followed as the Cherhill opening bowler started to move the ball around.The Cherhill off spinner Harrison was proving difficult to get away as he turned the ball with pace and bounce. Morbey and Duncan Clarke slowly moved the score along to 90 after 29 overs while Harrison's overs were running out, the last 10 overs of the innings saw 80 runs as the skipper reached 85 before being caught while Rob Morbey, James Timber, Josh Forth and Glenn Townsend scored quick runs to take the score to a creditable 204.
The Townsend's opened the bowling attack with Glenn having his first bowl since last year unlucky with a few boundaries coming off the edges while Will's first 6 overs went for 31 but making a breakthrough in his 4th over.His next 6 overs went for 3 runs as he picked up 2 more wickets, Duncan Clarke on his debut picked up 3 wickets in his 12 over spell while John Slack collected 4 more wickets as the 2nds gained a deserved win to move them up the table.
