Match report Buscot put in one of their best performances of the season to come away with a victory against Westbury who had only lost 2 previous games this season.
Buscot fielded first and with Mike Heasman restricting the runs from one end Westbury struggled to get above 3 an over in the early stages.Mike took his 2nd wicket with his last ball of his spell to finish with figures of 12-8-8-2 to leave Westbury on 69 for 3 off 23 overs.John Slack then came on and we steadily took wickets as Westbury reached 126 before Slacky took their last wicket and his 5th leaving their no.4 R.Coleman on 64n.o.Congrats to Jon on his first 5 wicket haul .
The Buscot innings got off to a bad startas we fell to 13 for 2 but Andy Morbey and Tony Watts steadied the innings ,the skipper was then bowled with the score on 41.Tony and 14 year old Louis Bouwers then took us to victory with an unbeaten partnership of 89 to send us to the dizzy heights of fifth in the league !
