Ten-man Buscot beat Eynsham in their first U17 match of the season. Eynsham were put into bat by Buscot and made a total of 113 for 6 from their 20 overs. Ben Norton made 28 before being caught by Ian Oglesby off Liam Brown who took 3 wickets for 20 in his 4 overs. Ian Oglesby took an absolutely stunning catch off his brother Will to dismiss Matt Lake for 1. Tom Stevens and Liam Brown also held a superb catch each. Kris Clarke helped stop a collapse after Eynsham lost 5 wickets for just 14 runs.

Buscot then batted with openers Ian Oglesby and Dan Lee putting on 56 before Dan was bowled on 23. Buscot went on to make 114 for 2 in the 19th over, with Ian needing just one to make his 50 with the scores level. Unfortunately a no ball from bowler Zubair gave Buscot the win, but deprived Ian Oglesby of his half century.
