BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB

The season has been an improvement on last year with 7 wins and 9 defeats but apart from probably 3 games we have been in with a chance of winning the others.
More players scored 50's this season than last year with Paul Farmer, Liam Farmer,Louis Bouwers and Steve Hughes scoring maiden league 50's, Rob Morbey also scored a 50 while Andy Morbey scored a 100 and five 50's.
The bowling saw Jon Slack take 27 wickets , Mike Heasman 26 while Will Townsend 19,Will winning the bowling average. The juniors also showed their their bowling skills with Louis, Josh Forth and Andy Capper all looking to show great promise with the ball. Andy also picked up a hat-trick at Warminster, Liam Farmer picked up most catches with 9 , followed by Rob Morbey with 7.
The aftermatch celebrations/dissappointments were well attended both home and away which kept the team spirit going. Thanks to Win Morbey for supplying the food at the Football Club after the home games, the juniors and George Heasman always seemed to enjoy the sausages and chips !
