Match report At times a warm sunny sunday morning, at times a wet soggy sunday dismal sunday morning!!

Buscot lost the toss and were put in to bat by Hendred, with Harry Stevens and Rob O"Kelly opening the batting. Both were batting well and pushing the run rate along and then Rob was caught in the 5th over having made 12. Harry continued to score well but was caught in the 7th over as was Jeremy shortly after with 1 run. The next over saw Saul's dismissal and a collapse was looking imminent. However Harry Puffitt and Toby Dibble then steadied the boat, despite a rain interruption,and some excellent batting by both boys, with a partnership of 63 saw the score move on to 105 for 5 when Toby was caught on 29, Harry Puffitt retired on 30 a couple of over later. George Liddiard and Jonathan Carter continued, taking us to our 20 overs and each scoring 2. We finished on 116 for 6

It rained a little more during the interval, but Hendred were finally able to bat. Their openers started well before Rob O'Kelly took the first wicket in the 5th over. Harry Puffitt took a wicket on his first delivery in the 7th. The fielding by Buscot wasnot brilliant, perhaps the wet ball was the problem, but we were not as tight as we have been. However we did manage a run out in the 8th over, which seemed to slow Hendred down. Harry Stevens bowled the Hendred no 3 in the 12th over and Hendred never looked like winning after that, unable to keep up with the run rate. George Liddiard took the next wicket and then a three wicket over for Rob left Hendred to face defeat. Jack and Harry Stevens each bowled a tail-ender and Hendred only made 97 all out.

The match was delayed by both the rain and a nasty thick lip for Toby Dibble who gat a ball in the face attempting a catch.

The match finally finished at around 1.30pm!!
