Match report A dreadful start to the match, Buscot were 6 for 3 half way through the 3rd over. Fortunately panic did not set in and Rob and Jeremy set about turning the innings around. Rob (with Will as a runner) made 31 and retired after facing just 20 balls and Jeremy stayed at the crease for 10 overs and made 12 before being given out LBW. Meanwhile Toby was batting well and was bowled for 29, one run away from retiring! George Liddiard eventually found the boundary having blocked a little too well with the overs running out and made 12 not out and Jack Tomes was also not out on 2. The Didcot bowling was very accurate, and they conceded just 9 extras. Buscot finished on 103 for 7.

Didcot then batted, and despite a high as Jack Brown took the first wicket off the second ball of the match, Didcot were looking strong with there No 2 and 3 batsmen finding the boundary and racing to 32 off five overs. However these 2 were dismissed in the 5th and 6th with Harry bowling out Wilcox for 14 and Jeremy taking an excellent catch behind the stumps off Luther's bowling. The pace of the Didcot scoring then slowed dramatically, and they scored only 29 more runs in the next 10 overs. Rob took a wicket with his spin bowling, and Jack Tomes had fabulous figures of 3 wickets off 2 overs, conceding only a wide! Jack Brown finished off the match with Jeremy taking his second catch, and Didcot (with only 9 players) were all out for 61.

Next round is at home to Eynsham or Oxford and Bletchingdon nondescripts on Sunday 31 May
