Match report 2nd team league debut for Matt Williams

This relegation scrap saw Buscot yet again loosing the toss on what was a very green wicket and we were put into bat.
Steady wickets fell around opener Liam, before he departed for a gritty 36 and after a slight collapse Buscot were left on 103 for 9, before the Gardiners came together and put on a brilliant 47 last-wicket partnership, to see Buscot to a reasonable total of 151 all out.
Beanacre started very slowly with tight bowling from Jonny(6-1-8-0) and debutant Matty (11.4-2-26-2), seeing the innings to a score of 34 or from 18 overs, the pressure then started to mount on the opposition and superb fielding and well taken catches saw Buscot take the upper hand with Slacky taking 2 more wickets and it left the sole spinner, Rich, to take yet another 5 wicket haul and seal the win by 42 runs.

Richard Gardiner's figures of 5-45 is the 3rd time he has taken 5 or more wickets in a league game for the 2nd's (1st at home and 2 away).
