Match report And so back to Sunday cricket!! We were blessed with the presence of the Chairman who will no doubt talk you through every ball (and there were only 82 of them) of his 100 befor he did the honourable thing and retired (very tired!!) Will Oglesby was bowled just 4 short of his 50. Buscot made 241 from their 40 overs. Bampton then came out to bat and their umpire gave the captain out LBW in the 3rd over - he wont have to umpire agin!! An excellent batting performance from N Pitt who made 64 with 12 4's, befor being caught and bowled by Will Oglesby who took 4 for 13 off his 4 overs. With Pitt dismissed the tail quickly fell, with wickets for Jonny, Ian, Chris and Farmer (One wicket off his one ball!!) and Mr Chairman took one too, before departing for the pub to talk everyone through his century. A good game with plenty of Sunday cricket spirit.
