BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Won by 3 runs

Match report Buscot lost the toss and were asked to bat,Harry was lost in the 1st over, Will P moved quickly to 11 before hitting another shot into the air to be caught. Jeremy had yet to get off the mark, Will James was out soon after to leave us on 14 for 3. Jeremy and Toby put on 32 before Toby went.Regular wickets fell and we were all out for 90 with Jeremy carrying his bat with 40 not out.Again a failure to use the overs up looked likely to cost us the game.
Sutton started well with Harris and Brown taking the score to 38 before Brown was run out , this led to the run rate slowing down but Sutton still had wickets in hand. A good spell of bowling by Alex Robinshaw ( 4-1-8-1 ) one of the reasons , with 3 overs left Sutton required 18 to win,skipper Harry decided to have a bowl and got a wicket in his 1st over, a big 6 of Naimets' last over left Sutton favourites needing 5 of the last over with 6 wickets remaining.The next 6 deliveries fronm Harry went bowled, bowled ,dot. bye, bowled , run out as Buscot managed to somehow sneak an unlikely victory.
A similiar story to the u13's game with us not using our overs up ,which nearly cost the game, some good bowling and groundfielding kept us in the game and The Skipper held his nerve at the end ! A great game for the spectators to watch.
