Match report In a rematch of the first rearranged game of the season, Buscot played host to Beanacre looking for instant revenge. Beanacre won the toss and unsurprisingly put Buscot into bat, an opening partnership of 46 between Paul and Rich seemed to lay a solid base however 3 quick wickets left the innings sagging at 55 for 3 however Paul passed his 50 and build partnerships with Liam, Mutchy and an unbeaten one with Jonny to post a competitive 175 with the Captain smashing 20 4's in his tremendous knock of 108*, well done. However we knew it would mean nothing if we couldn't then bowl Beanacre out. After the first sublime home tea of the season, Buscot took to the field and Jonny maintained his impressive opening to the season as him and fellow opener J Forth squeezed the Beanacre top-order and left them 17 for 3 off 12, Slacky and Rich then came on and tightened it even more with Beanacre looking down the barrell of a thrashing at 62 for 9, however their last pair batted well and regained some pride by getting them to 118 by the end of the innings. A better all-round performance from all team members, but missed out on a few points by not taking last wicket, hopefully won't cost us in the long run.

Paul Farmer scored his maiden hundred for the 2nds so his score of 108no is his highest in league cricket for the 2nd's beating his previous highest score of 97.
