2nd team league debut for Stanley Burke.
Andy Morbey's score of 69no is his 41st score of 50+ for the 2nd XI in league cricket (5 centuries and 36th fifty, 20th at home and 21 away) - not including 1996 as no information available for that season.
Andy has now scored 211 runs for the 2's in the league since being dismissed (85no, 57no and 69no). It is the 7th time that a batsman has scored more than 150 runs between dismissals in 2nd XI league games (4th by Andy, twice by Ray O'Neill, once by Des Williams) and the 2nd time that over 200 runs have been scored by someone between being dismissed.
Andy has now scored 4 successive scores of 50 plus (72,85no,57no,69no) which has only been done once before in 2nd XI league games (by Andy in 2009 with scores of 63,59no,100no,80no).
Andy has now scored 5 fifties for the 2nd's in 2015 which equals the record for most fifties scored for the 2's in a league season (also achieved by Ray O'Neill in 1986, Tony Watts in 2005 & 2008 and Andy in 2009). In 2009, Andy also scored a century so 6 fifty plus scores in a season is the 2nd team league record.
Andy has now scored 373 runs in 2015 so has gone into the Top 25 most runs scored in a 2nd XI league season, straight in to 14th place so far and passing 369 runs by John Blackwell in 1993 plus various other batsmen such as Brian Talbot (360), Des Williams (354 & 332), Dave Norman (354), Pete Stone (343), Ray O'Neill (335), Ally Barron (334), Dennis Anderson (332) and himself (352 & 350). Dave Honeywill with 329 runs in 1994 has now dropped out of the top 25.
John Slack's 2nd wicket in this game was his 100th home league wicket for the 2's. This will put John in 2nd place for most home league wickets. Will Townsend is top with over 300 home wickets.
Andy Morbey now has 12 stumpings for the 2's this season which beats the previous 2nd team league record which was 11 stumpings by Andy in 2004.
Special mention to Stanley Burke for playing at such short notice and saving us runs in the field which we would have conceded if fielding with only 10 players. The game was that close that having the extra fielder (and batsman although Stanley wasn't required to bat) made the difference between winning and losing.
This is the 6th game in a row we have played and won (not including the forfeited win) so the first time winning six games in a row since 2002.
2nd's all time league record against Winsley is now Played 17, Won 8, Lost 9.

Paul Farmer's next four will be his 250th in the league for 2nd XI.
Rob Morbey needs 3 catches for 150 known dismissals for the 2nd's (currently 143 catches & 4 stumpings but not including any from 1996).
John Slack needs 4 wickets for 200 total wickets for the 2nd's and 5 more away wickets for 100 away wickets.
Patrick Slack needs 5 more 2nd XI wickets to reach 50 wickets.
