Match report Paul Farmer's 100th 2nd XI league appearance and the match was sponsored by Paul Farmer Building and Maintenance.
Daren Fisher's 2-16 is his best 2nd team league bowling figures beating his previous best of 2-42.
With Westbury at 71-7 it was looking good for the 2nds but a 52 8th wicket partnership by D House and A Osborne took the score to 123-8 and Westbury were all out for 124.
John Slack and Richard Gardiner both took their 20th catches in league cricket for the 2nds so are now joint 15th on the all-time catching list (not including wicket keepers).
Rob Morbey's stumping was his 40th wicket keeping dismissal for 2nds in league cricket (34 catches and 6 stumpings).
Patrick Slack was the teams highest scorer for the first time in his 2nd XI career with his highest league home score of 14, beating his previous highest home score of 6no.
A good 25 run partnership for the 8th wicket by the two Slack's gave the score a bit more respectability as the 2nds finished on 94. A target of 125 should have been within reach but no batsman reached 20 on a slow low wicket.
Paul Farmer completed his 100th 2nd XI league game and in this time Paul has scored 1822 runs, averaging 23.06, h/s 108no, 1 hundred and 9 fifties, 275 4's and 9 6's. Paul's 1822 runs puts him in 9th place on the list of all-time most league runs for the 2's. Exact number of games are not known yet as still no complete information for seasons 1996 and 1999.
