Match report Another lost toss and we ended up batting first on the artificial wicket at Burbage, Paul and Jason got us off to a good start putting on 32 before Paul was caught. Jason was next gone scoring 29 with the score on 46, the Buscot collapse followed as we lost 4 wickets in 9 overs to leave the score at 76 for 6 off 23. Rob(24) and Andy (42)put on 78 for the next wicket but the last 3 wickets fell cheaply leaving Karen 0 not out as we reached 163.
Burbage made a similar start to their innings before Matthew and Josh got their first 3 out, Paul and Patrick then slowed the run rate down as wickets fell regularly leaving them at 92 for 8 off 28 unfortunately the skipper then stepped up a gear as they got to 164 9 overs later.
A close game which could of gone either way , Hamish taking his first catch behind the stumps on debut while Karen made BPCC history by becoming the 1st female to represent Buscot in league cricket.
