BUSCOT PARK CRICKET CLUB Lost by 26 runs

Match report A much improved display saw Buscot come up just short of a more experienced Challow side.Robbie Cave picked up the early wicket of Challow's R.Gordon but a 50 run partnership between Pat Wiltshire and Nigel Hume saw the game change. Buscot used several bowlers who picked up wickets and with a much better fielding display held Challow to 126 for 7.Only 3 wides and 2 no balls this week !
Buscot chased well with Will Oglesby leading the way, erratic Challow bowling helped keep the extras going but as the bowling tightened up the flow of runs slowed and we eventually finished on 100 for 7.
The performance and attitude of the team was far and away the best of the season even though we lost this game, skipper Harry Dibble kept a young team (7 under 14's ) on their toes giving everyone a game in the process.
