Match report After a long journey from the sunshine in Buscot we arrived at a very overcast Aston Rowant. Openers Nic Moody and Harrison Brown started strogly with some excellent quick singles in the first few overs putting pressure on the Aston Rowant fielders from the start. Harrison Brown was bowled in the 5th over when Harry stevens took to the crease. A partnership of 26 moved the score onto 44 before Stevens was given LBW on 19. Rob O'kelly then joined Nic Moody quickly putting on 30 between them before Nic was caught on 21. Rob continued strongly, retiring on 30. 11 not out from Matt Carter took the final score for Buscot to 124 after 20 overs.

Buscot then took to the field, their fielding much sharper than that of Aston Rowant, with a total of 4 run outs during the innings, with an excellent team performance. Top scorers for Aston Rowant were T Condon and O Gordon on 5, with none of the Aston Rowant players getting into double figures. 2 wickets for both Matt Carter and Rob O'kelly and one each for Nic Moody and Matt Davis saw Aston Rowant collapse to 33 all out after 12 overs. Even the sun was shining by the end of the game!!
