Match report In this match there was a bit more rivalry than the normal friendly fixture as family pride was at stake for some.Buscot bowled first and managed to use 10 bowlers,the pick of them Liam Farmer with figures of 3-1-9-3, fortunately no son managed to get their father out which meant they were allowed home ! Langford reached 95 for 8 off 20 overs.
Langford soon had Buscot under pressure as we lost 3 wickets ,the score being 25 at the half way stage ,more pressure was being put on the waiting Buscot batsmen by family members in the crowd ! We kept our nerve as Josh Smedley and Liam Farmer both retired after reaching 25, Richard Stevens continued his form with the bat reaching 17 n.o despite one nervous LBW as his father's appeal was turned down by his younger brother (brave decision by Harry ! )We reached our target in the 19th over to send the crowd home entertained and a little less quiet (not mentioning any names Mr. P )
