Match report The 2nds first ever league game against Swindon Nalgo.

Liam Farmer's nonchalant one-handed catch on the long-on boundary gave John Slack his 267th league wicket for the 2nds, but this game will be remembered by John for his batting achievement to come.

Tom Lawrence's first league stumping for the 2nd XI so he becomes only the 11th 2nd XI wicket keeper in 37 seasons to take a league stumping for the 2nds (Andy Morbey 140, Gareth Thomas 6, Cyril Knox 6, Liam Farmer 6, Rob Morbey 6, Des Williams 3, Hamish Millar 2, Tom Lockley 1, Ally Barron 1, Alistair Hunt 1, Tom Lawrence 1 - totals may change if we find 1995-99 scorebooks).

John Slack's 2nd run in this game was his 200th league run for the 2nds. John reached this in his 136th game, 79th innings but only dismissed in 44 of those.
