Match report 2nd team league debuts for Rob Lovegrove and Richard Gardiner.

A good win for the 2nds,put into bat, Buscot raced to 101 for 2 off 20 overs with Andy Morbey (27) and Steve Hughes reacing a first league 50 hitting four 6's in his 60.The usual Buscot collapse followed and we were 134 for 8 off 39 only some good hitting from Mike Heasman(25) and Will Townsend (28n.o) took us to 171 all out.
We should have reached 200 with the start we had but 171 still prove too much as Mike and Will opened the bowling, with Mike taking wickets and Will proving difficult to score off, the opposition were 53 for 5 off 24 overs.Richard Gardiner and John Slack got 2 and 3 wickets respectively as H & V were bowled out for 130

Steve Hughes scored his maiden fifty for the 2nds so his score of 60 is his highest in league cricket for the 2nd's beating his previous highest score of 17no.

Mike Heasman's figures of 5-27 are his best 2nd team league bowling figures beating his previous best of 5-35.
